Annapurna Base Camp Trek

About the trip

Altitude: 4130m
Best Season: Autumn/Spring

The Annapurna Region in the Western part of Nepal is the largest conservation area in the Himalaya. The 7629 sq. kilometre region contains some of the most stunning and famous treks in the world including the Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Annapurna Base Camp is one of the more easily accessible high altitude base camps in Nepal. This trek begins through Typical Gurung and Magar villages with their unique culture, beautiful landscape and scenic Mountain Views. Rice terraces, lush vegetation and a wide variety of flora and fauna guide you from village to village where you are met by smiling faces and the soft smell of fresh mint tea.

Mt. Annapurna (8091m) is the 10th highest mountain in the world and one of the first 8000m peaks ever summited. It's base camp is situated at 4130m/13549ft high. Moreover, we reach our destination via the Fishtail mountain or Machhapuchre in Nepali. This stunning peak is widely regarded as the most beautiful in Nepal and as it is considered Holy has never been climbed.

Annapurna base camp trek doesn't require prior trekking experience but does require a decent level of physical fitness.
