Labuche Peak Climbing/Expedition

Nepal

About the trip

Altitude: 6119m
Best Season: Autumn/Spring

Labuche peak is one of the most popular peaks in the Everest region. This 6000er is mostly climbed by Everest expedition groups for their acclimatization and pre fitness. Labuche peak lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and has two main peaks, Labuche East Alt-6119 and Labuche west Alt-6145m. Labuche East is the most climbed. Although the Labuche East climb is a bit more challenging than the Island peak climb, it is equally rewarding. From the summit of Labuche peak you get an amazing view of Everest alongside Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Pumari and many more Himalayan giants. The trip will also take you to some of the most popular places in the Everest region like Kala Pathar, which provides an excellent view of Everest along with other high mountains ranges.

Highlights:

  • Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla with amazing mountain views all around including the Everest massif.
  • Trek through Sherpa villages, past Buddhist shrines and high suspension bridges.
  • Enjoy the Everest Base Camp trek and Kala Pathar before Labuche peak.
  • Summit Labuche peak.
