The Langtang Region lies in the North of Nepal. It is situated just 51 km away of Kathmandu Valley. The region is renowned for its National park and for sharing a border with the Tibetan region of China. The majority of people living in this area are Tamang. The Langtang valley is one of the most popular destinations in Nepal with many different route options for all fitness levels. The Langtang trek is very accessible just 5-6 hours drive from Kathmandu.
